The best kept secret to staying in Byron Bay is to stay in the hinterland. Its no coincidence that it’s up in the tranquil hills you’ll find the best Byron Bay, Temple Farmhouse. We were lucky enough to recently get a chance to stay at the beautiful Temple Farm House. Perched atop a private hill on 75 acres in the lush Hinterland countryside.
The scenic 20 minute drive from Byron took us through windy rural roads, cute villages and macadamia orchards. You could be forgiven for thinking your in the Tuscan countryside.
Making our way up the final stretch of a dusty country road, the modern farmhouse sits high on a hill ahead of us. Walking though the front door the first thing greeting us is the vast panoramic views of the picturesque hinterland.
With immaculately styled worldly farmhouse touches throughout, an open plan living area that flows out onto a balcony and a 25 meter lap pool overlooking the rolling countryside this is the place for the perfect staycation.
With its absolute privacy you feel a million miles from anywhere, just you the views and the sounds of nature. The birdsongs specially in the morning will make your heart melt.
