The square pattern of the plan, made up of an alternation of high ceilings and open inner courtyards, starts with a total permeability of the street and gradually opens up into the jungle. The boundaries between interior and exterior spaces are gradually diluted.

Nature is invited in the house which becomes greener towards the jungle. This alternating system in the daytime area also provides comfortable natural ventilation to evacuate heat in this humid tropical climate and also provide natural light.

Fresh air descends in the planted courtyards and the clerestory windows created by high ceilings let the warm air out.

In this humid tropical monsoon climate, water is also a component of the house. The rain creates a cascade at the entrance and each interior patio enjoys streams of rain.

They also make for a relaxing ambient sound when it rains.

The night area is developed on the east side, around a larger interior courtyard, which distributes all the rooms. Each bathroom also has its own open patio. The house provides a constant visual relationship with the trees, which also provide a healthy shade for the house. From anywhere in the house, you have a green view.

The house is made with a concrete frame with local wood for doors, windows and decks. The floor is white cement and all the wet areas – the infinity pool, the barbecue and the waterfall at the entrance – are made of concrete oxidized with iron.
